Multi-instrumentalist and music producer Dalibor Kocián, aka Stroon, will appear in a solo concert of vibraphone and electronic music, and also perform as DJ Stroon. A vast array of ideas flashing through his mind resonate in his music, expressed through a variety of riveting and constantly surprising techniques drawn from a wide range of musical genres.

Stroon is a Slovak producer, composer and vibraphonist, widely regarded as one of the most prolific and versatile young musicians around. His solo activities include concerts (e.g. opening of the Košice European City of Culture), installations (e.g. Nuit Blanche), theatre music (e.g. for the Slovak National Theatre), visual narrative music (Music vs Stock Market), music for dance performances and short films. Over the years he has also cooperated and performed with a number of bands such as Longital (alternative pop), Musica Falsa et Ficta (an improvisation orchestra), Škvíry&Spoje (an improvisation quartet), Cluster Ensemble and Veni Ensemble (contemporary music), and he currently performs with his home band PPE, multiple-award winning alternative pop ensemble. He describes his works as ultra-genre – from experimental to electronica and classical, right up to pop.
